The Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights officially ushers in the Holiday Season with a host of entertainment, lighting of the Salvation Army Tree of Lights and a festive fireworks finale.

The event kicks off at 4:30 pm inside the spectacular Grand Hall at Union Station featuring Mrs. Claus serving children hot chocolate and cookies followed by a host of family entertainment that includes: 

  • Kingsbury Place Singers, St. Louis Christmas Carols Association
  • Muny Kids Touring Troupe
  • Allegro – COCA’s student vocal ensemble
  • Washington University Accapella Group

Plus, dignitaries will be on-hand to announce the winners of the holiday coloring and essay competition.

Outside Union Station along Aloe Plaza, holiday revelers will enjoy food truck concessions, music, live reindeer and carriage rides before the official lighting of the Salvation Army Tree of Lights and fireworks at 6:30 pm.

Entertainers performing outside near the Salvation Army Tree of Lights at Aloe Plaza include: 

  • St. Louis Osuwa Taiko (drummers)
  • Salvation Army Brass Band
