Macy's Holiday Festival of Lights Friday November 18th

From 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, the Macy's Holiday Festival of Lights officially kicks off the season at the City Garden, 2 blocks West of Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis. The show has been completely revamped for 2011 with a specially designed headline performance by Circus Flora.

The family fun will also include the Grand Center Arts Academy Show Choir, the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association (celebrating their 100 year anniversary) and a surprise appearance by Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (from the live musical at Peabody Opera House). The tree lighting takes place at 6:30 p.m., followed by a stunning fireworks display.

In addition, the Joia Drum Line, Banana Bike Brigade and the Bob Case Brass Band will lead a procession to Macy's for photo opportunities with The Grinch, performances by the Radio Disney Road Crew and holiday treats for all.
