Safety/Risk Management Guidelines

A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted with the completed application (template enclosed). Applicants will not be allowed to participate without proper insurance documents. Download Certificate of Liability Insurance Here

All units must be in safe operating condition and be visually attractive.

All motorized participants are required to have working fire extinguishers on board the units.

Units with riders aboard larger than automobiles or with open wheel wells may be required to have “wheel walkers” stationed by each wheel. This will be reviewed by the parade committee.
- No Santa Claus outfits are allowed in the parade as there is only one Santa Claus.
- In the interest of safety, weapons, firearms, and/or explosives, including fire crackers, can not be allowed, except as carried by law enforcement/security officials.
- Absolutely NO throwing or handling out (distribution) of anything without prior approval of the parade committee.
- Any infractions of these or any other safety rules may preclude participation in the parade.
