Christmas In St. Louis

Dear Parade Applicant:

The Christmas in St. Louis Parade Committee is seeking participants for the AmerenUE Thanksgiving
Day Parade, which will be held this year on Thursday, November 25th in downtown St. Louis. We expect great
interest in the parade this year several exciting bits of news you will hear more about shortly.

The parade features more than 130 floats and displays from eight-story giant helium balloon figures to animal
units and marching bands. The competition is stiff! We invite you to submit your application to join us in the
parade and we encourage you to send it in early. This year’s deadline is October 21, 2010.
An application form has been enclosed for your convenience. Along with returning a completed application, you
must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance form. All participants are expected to abide by the parade
committee’s requirements which have been enclosed for your review.

For our 26th anniversary, KMOV will again be broadcasting the Parade live. Participants may receive a high level
of visibility throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Live broadcast of the parade typically draws the
largest audience for that weekend on KMOV.

We look forward to receiving your application and necessary paperwork. Please make sure to add your email
address as CISL will be communicating in the future by email. Due to the limited number of openings, all
applications will not be selected to participate. Every applicant will be notified of acceptance status approximately
October 28th.
